I am a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist working both within the NHS and privately providing assessment and treatment to children and young people aged 4 – 18 suffering from ASD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Tics, Learning Difficulties, OCD, PTSD, Gender Dysphoria and Elimination Disorders (Enuresis, Encopresis).
I completed my MBBs at the University of Medicine in Timisoara, Romania in 1995. I then went on to specialise in Psychiatry and completed my specialist training in Athens.
I became a Consultant Psychiatrist in 2016 initially working with Dublin North County CAMHS.

-Language Skills fluent in Greek, English and Romanian. I have worked as a translator, translating texts and instructions for medical drugs from English to Greek, from English to Romanian and vice versa. I have good understanding in Spanish and basic understanding in German and French.

Dr Reshad Sufraz
Adult Consultant Psychiatrist
​
Dr Reshad Sufraz is a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist who has been working in the NHS for over 10 years in the fields of Crisis Psychiatry, Community Psychiatry and Inpatient Psychiatry in West and North West London.
Prior to that he worked in the private sector in North West London for several years providing a combination of outpatient, inpatient and psychiatric intensive care to patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
He completed his medical training in 1988 and qualified with a MBBS from University College Hospital, London and a B.Sc. from The Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London. He went on to complete his postgraduate psychiatric training initially at the Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospitals Training Scheme before moving onto the Royal Free Hospital Training scheme and achieved membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) by examination in 1996. During this time he worked in several busy teaching hospitals in London gaining valuable experience in multiple psychiatric sub-specialties.
During his postgraduate training in psychiatry he was awarded a full Rotary International Foundation Scholarship, which helped him, achieve an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. He qualified at the top of his class and received a Diploma in Child Development from Cedars Sinai Medical Center along the way
Dr Sufraz is committed to delivering excellence in mental health care and is experienced in treating a wide spectrum of adult mental health disorders. He takes an empathic, holistic and person centered approach towards caring for his patients. This includes addressing biological, psychological, emotional and social factors via a comprehensive assessment process and a bespoke treatment service that aims to help individuals achieve optimal mental, psychological and emotional functioning thereby promoting health, balance & wellbeing
