Coronavirus has drastically changed the way we live our lives and interact with each other. The Wellbeing in Nature project aims to support the local community (Sussex)  with any of the following issues: worry and anxiety, grief, physical health, loneliness and mental health through walking, talking, connecting to each other and onto local agencies that can offer support.

Please get in touch if you are interested in joining  a walk - we walk on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Booking is essential - we keep the group small and safe and have criteria for who can join the walk. If you are interested in coming along and would like to find out more please about the Well-being in Nature project, the newsletter and Well-being walks please get in contact  : Ellie Moulton, Well-being Project Coordinator

Hi I am Sarah, I  have been practicing yoga for 15 years and started practicing just after my daughter was born. I quickly started to recognise the benefits that the physical and meditative practice of yoga brought to my body and mind.

I was drawn to the principles of Vajrasati yoga which is steeped in the traditions that yoga has been influenced by and integrates this fully into its approach. I qualified as a Vajrasati yoga teacher last year and since then have gained my 500+ certificate. I am always looking to deepen my knowledge and practice.

I can feel the sense of space and calmness that yoga has brought to me over the years particularly with the ‘business of life’ and competing demands on my time.  My classes guide students through a series of postures slowly and deeply, paying attention to the breath. I take time to make sure students feel comfortable and relaxed and aim to provide opportunities for everyone to participate.

I was teaching a wellbeing session for adults with mental health needs in-person before lockdown and currently teach twice a week on Zoom.  I am currently able to provide tailored small group sessions or 1-1 sessions on Zoom, and in the future hope to provide these in person from a studio.

If you would like to join one of my Zoom classes or would like to arrange a 1-1 session please drop me an email foordsarah@hotmail.com or you can book 1-1 sessions through the changing-futures website.

Group sessions are £10.00 an hour and 1-1 sessions are £20 for half an hour.

I offer 1 free introductory session and reduced rates for all sessions to meet your current situation; ‘Take what you need and give what you can’.
